One of the ex-libris equipment of the county is its Promenade called Passeio maritimo de Oeiras. With almost six kilometres in length, the Promenade connects Oeiras to Paço de Arcos and the Fort of São Bruno, in Caxias, to the beach of Cruz Quebrada, in this section with an area destined to the pedestrian circulation and a reserved band to the circulation of bicycles.
The creation of a cycle path in this stretch allows the connection of the Cruz-Quebrada / National Stadium area to the Algês Maritime Promenade, where there is already a cycle path with a kilometre of extension.
The Promenade start at the beach Praia da Torre, brings through the Marina d’Oeiras and the beach of Santo Amaro until the the one of Paço de Arcos.
The Marina d’Oeiras offers a number of nice restaurants offering basic dishes and breakfast. We recommend Tó na onda proposing huge torradas (toast with butter) and serves also good fish. You can find also shops proposing bike and boat renting as well as scuba lessons.
